According to the FSB Public Relations Center, the attack was planned in the Yaroslavl region. At the moment a Russian citizen has been detained. According to operational data, the man was going to pour toxic chemicals causing respiratory burns with possible lethal outcome into the air ducts of cars of employees of the defense industrial enterprise.
The man took two containers with chemicals from a cache equipped by the Ukrainian security services. The operation was coordinated from the territory of Ukraine “through foreign Internet messengers,” the FSB said.
According to Telegram channel Baza, the man was promised 1.5 million rubles for the operation. He was detained on January 8 and is suspected under two articles of the criminal code – on terrorism and on public call for extremist activity.
