It was an attempt on the president of the Boxing Federation of the DNR and the creator of the “ArBat” battalion Armen Sargsyan, Baza reports.
The explosion occurred when Sarkisyan was walking through the lobby accompanied by security guards.
As a result of the explosion, a man was killed and five others were injured, including a concierge, near whose post, according to preliminary data, the explosive device was planted.
According to Baza, Sargsyan survived and was taken to intensive care. At the same time, Interfax quoted a source as saying that Sarkisyan died.
A criminal case has been opened over the incident under two articles – murder and attempted murder, Kommersant reported.
