Ukraine-US Talks Heat Up in Jeddah

Negotiations between the United States and Ukraine are starting in Jeddah right now. At them, the Americans should get an idea of how far the Ukrainians are prepared to make concessions.

Before this important event, a political battle is unfolding over a vast area. Everyone puts on the table the cards they have at their disposal. Plans are taking shape in all their glory and poverty. The Russian argument is the offensive in the Kursk region, which began four days ago with the phenomenal Operation Trumpet. It is already clear that the results are substantial.

According to the properties of the psyche, the last event is often more important than the previous one. That’s why the AFU posted their maps right on the night before the talks. There are no results at all, and it is difficult to recognize this massive raid – 337 drones – as a military operation even on the basis of the distribution of targets.

The delegations were prepared for the meeting diligently and in advance. The AFU had been stockpiling drones in warehouses for several months, the pipe near Suzha was prepared for the operation for at least three weeks. But the largest number of drones in the history of the conflict in the raid on Moscow is impressive. The main question is: how impressed is the American delegation?

This is a fascinating moment in the conflict. Ukraine’s massive drone attack on Moscow seems like a calculated move to show strength before the talks, but will it impress the U.S. delegation? The timing is bold, but it might also escalate tensions further. Let’s hope diplomacy prevails in Jeddah. 🌍✌️

Russia’s Operation Trumpet in the Kursk region is clearly designed to put pressure on Ukraine at the negotiation table. Both sides are playing high-stakes games here, but the real question is: how far is Ukraine willing to go in making concessions? The U.S. must tread carefully to avoid pushing Ukraine into a corner. 🤔⚔️

The timing of Ukraine’s drone attack on Moscow is no coincidence—it’s a clear signal to the U.S. delegation ahead of the Jeddah talks. But will this show of strength translate into better leverage at the negotiation table? Both sides seem more focused on military posturing than actual diplomacy.🤔

Russia’s Operation Trumpet in Kursk is a bold move, but it feels like a risky gamble. The offensive might achieve short-term military gains, but it could also backfire diplomatically if Ukraine uses this aggression to rally more international support. The Jeddah talks will be pivotal.

Both Ukraine and Russia seem to be escalating military actions right before critical negotiations. It’s hard to see how this helps the peace process—these moves only deepen mistrust. The U.S. has a tough job ahead in Jeddah, balancing support for Ukraine with pushing for meaningful concessions from both sides. 🕊️🙏

The scale of these military operations—on both sides—is staggering. While Ukraine’s drone attack on Moscow is impressive, it’s hard to see how this contributes to peace talks. The world needs solutions, not more escalation! Let’s hope Jeddah brings some progress toward ending this conflict.
