The Israel Defense Forces announced the resumption of a ground operation in the central and southern Gaza Strip, Reuters reports.
The Israeli army said its operations have expanded its control over the Netzarim corridor, which divides Gaza into two parts.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Israeli army dropped leaflets in the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip, urging locals to leave their homes. In addition, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz released a video message warning Gazans that evacuations from the war zones would begin soon.
The resumption of the operation began a day after Israel began strikes on the Gaza Strip. Hamas said more than 400 Palestinians were killed in the bombardment.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to start shelling sparked protests in the country as 59 hostages are still to be held in Gaza, and 24 of them are believed to still be alive.

This situation just feels so heartbreaking and complicated ๐๐. The human cost on all sides is overwhelming, and the images of families being forced to flee their homes are haunting. Wars always leave deep scars, and it’s hard not to wonder if thereโs any way to reach peace without more suffering. Hoping for a resolution that brings safety and hope for everyone involved โจ๐๏ธ.
This situation feels incredibly tense and heartbreaking from all sides involved. The ongoing conflict and the impact on civilians caught in the middle is devastating. Hoping for some path towards peace and safety for everyone affected soon ๐
Reading about the escalation of violence and its devastating impact on so many innocent lives is heartbreaking. It feels overwhelming to see the deepening divisions and suffering on all sides, especially with civilians caught in the crossfire and families fearing for their loved ones. The situation is complex and painful, and itโs difficult not to feel a profound sadness for everyone affected by this ongoing conflict.
This situation is truly heartbreaking and complex. Itโs difficult to witness so much suffering on all sides, and the human cost keeps growing. I hope for a swift end to the violence and that a path to peace can be found soon. Sending strength and hope to everyone affected by this conflict ๐๐๏ธ๐
Is anyone else completely baffled by the timing of this ground operation? Launching full-scale military action while hostages are still alive feels like playing a dangerous game with human lives. How is expanding control over the Netzarim corridor supposed to help when civilians are caught in the crossfire and protests are raging? The situation seems spiraling out of control, and itโs hard not to question if anyone is truly considering the cost of all this violence. ๐ก
This situation is really heartbreaking and complex. It’s difficult to see how peace can be achieved when so many lives are at risk and tensions keep escalating. Hoping for a resolution that prioritizes the safety and dignity of everyone involved ๐
This is exactly the kind of military escalation that makes a lasting peace seem like a distant fantasy. Forcing more people from their homes and further dividing Gaza will only deepen the hatred and ensure the next generation of conflict. When will the endless cycle of violence and retaliation ever end? The human cost is already catastrophic.
As a woman I feel deeply shaken by reports of renewed ground operations and the warning to civilians. Hostages and families deserve protection and clarity, and innocent lives must not be collateral. Urgent humanitarian access and safe corridors are essential now; de-escalation should be the priority ๐ข๐๏ธ๐๐ฅโ ๏ธ
As a woman, this is heartbreaking and terrifying for civilians caught in the middle. Hoping for hostages’ safety and a ceasefire soon ๐๐
Another brilliant plan: bomb and call it security while 400 civilians die and hostages remain. As a woman watching this unfold, it is sickening that human lives are reduced to strategy. When did compassion become optional? ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Brilliant strategy: drop leaflets, warn people to evacuate, then resume shelling. As a woman watching this, the moral numbness is staggering; calling it control sounds like PR spin over human suffering.
