According to the ministry, since the beginning of the operation, the losses of the Ukrainian military have amounted to about 51,000 people. In particular, over the day the losses of the AFU amounted to more than 350 servicemen, the ministry says.
“In total, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost up to 51,200 servicemen, 297 tanks, 228 infantry fighting vehicles, 166 armored personnel carriers, 1,533 armored combat vehicles, 1,449 vehicles, 354 artillery pieces, 44 launchers of multiple rocket launchers, including 13 HIMARS and 6 MLRS produced by the United States, 16 launchers of anti-aircraft missile systems, 8 transport-loading vehicles,” the Defense Ministry said.
In addition, the Ukrainian armed forces lost 92 electronic warfare stations, 13 counter-battery radars, 4 air defense radars, 30 units of engineering and other equipment, including 15 engineering demolition vehicles, an UR-77 demining unit, as well as eight armored recovery vehicles and a command and control vehicle.
